In 2013 the Foundation for Internet Development and Psychology Department of the Lomonosov Moscow State University with support of Google held Digital Competence of Teenagers and Their Parents, social and psychological survey in many Russian regions. The survey was conducted by Yurii Levada Analytical Center according to special methods developed by the Foundation for Internet Development.

Russian Kids Online is held by employees of the Foundation for Internet Development, Psychology Department of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, and the Federal Institute of Education Development of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. It is a part of EU Kids Online II International Research Project of the European Commission (2010-2011).

The main focus of the survey is on special feature of children’s and adults’ perception of the global network, security problems of Russian children and teenagers in the Internet, role of parents in ensuring security and competence of teachers in suing modern ICT.
