Workshop «Open Architecture in software and global communications»

On May, 31 has been held a special meeting «Open Architecture in software and global communications».

The Meeting was organized by:
Russian Scientific Centre «Kurchatovsky Institut”
Nanotechnologies and Informatics Faculty, MFTI Institute
Foundation for Internet Development
Russian development group FreeBSD
The Meeting was devoted to Marshall Kirk MackKouzick’s report "Twenty years of Berkeley Unix: From AT&T owned to freely redistributable" and took place at the Culture Centre “Kurchatovsky”.




In his report ÷ Marshall Kirk MackKouzick told about the origins of operation BSD Unix systems, including FreeBSD.
After the 2 hour information session Marshall Kirk answered the questions of the Meeting’s participants.
